Whiskey sporting this summer's hottest accessory. Everything went smooth with surgery...She was a little groggy and out of it Monday night. But she seems to be doing well...It's hard keeping her chill and calm. She is so ready to tear that thing off of her head and rip some grassy doughnuts in the backyard.
Totally unrelated to the post..buuut...worth sharing.
Tuesday...On my drive home from work, I was cutoff by a dude in a Honda Accord...at first I thought it was one of my co-workers because they looked a lot alike. It wasn't...just some random dude. That drove like a total asshole.
Wednesday morning...I am on my way to work and I get cutoff by the same exact dude. Same fucking guy...Still driving like an asshole.
I'll keep you posted if it happens tomorrow...I may need to reinforce my bumper or install a cow catcher this afternoon.

Whiskey rocking her new sombrero. Who's ready to party!? Whiskey is.
Unfortunately she'll be swapping out her sombrero for a doggy neck cone...Our poor girl is getting spayed today. It was the worst feeling EVER dropping her off...I felt terrible. Super stoked to pick her up.
Saturday was Joe's 32nd birthday....Summer rallied the troops for a Hornblower Sights and Sips San Diego Bay cruise and a dance fueled after party at The Local. As I am posting this I realize I only have one photo of the birthday boy and it is a photo of a photo. Sorry folks. My main goal on the cruise was to get as many photos as I could of Ryan Volek south of the 56 freeway...My secondary goal was to buy a red haired cowboy marionette and a mini sombrero for Whiskey...Missing complete...Enjoy!
Happy Birthday Joe!
!!! - Late Breaking News - !!!
An anonymous source has provided us with photographic evidence that prove Joe Shedd in fact was in attendance. We here at Reignsonerlandia have not been able to confirm these reports...but multiple sources have reported that there may have been consumption of alcoholic beverages during the evening. We will keep you posted as this story unfolds!
!!! - Even Later Breaking News - !!!
Another anonymous tip just in! We are still trying to confirm if alcoholic beverages were to blame...

Was REAL sleepy at home! When my folks came to visit last month they brought some of my old clothes and some Rivera yearbooks they had saved for me. Some highlights...Two Rivers Soccer Camp sweater, Zipper and studded pleather Michael Jackson style vest and the sweetest sateen Chicago Bears jacket you will ever see! I unpacked them and set them on the office chair...Murphy has claimed them as his new favorite spot to sleep. He gets only gets up to eat and poop, then right back to his new spot.
Whiskey is not afraid to let you know when she is ready to go to bed. She'll stand at the baby gate gazing into the bedroom...occasionally glancing back to make sure you are watching her. She loves to be in bed. She also isn't afraid to let you know when she doesn't want to get out of bed...this was one of those moments.
After dog beach and some solid weekend puppy fun...Whiskey was in need of some serious scrubbin! Here she is making bath time look like so much fun.
We rallied James and Mary for a few beers on Saturday. It turned into quite a few beers, dinner, a pit stop at the Shitty Kitty for some grape vodka sodas and some quality Herbie Mann jazz flute tuneage back at the casa. Since we had just been to Ballast Point earlier in the week and had been hyping up the Ginger Big Eye...Soooo that's where we started! I am not going to lie...there were a few ginger beer/ginger beard jokes flying around. Thanks for joining us guys!
Saturday afternoon we cruised out to La Mesa for Grace's birthday party. Had some snacks, took some photos with the phone, shot the shit, lounged, watched Whiskey stand at the gate to the backyard wanting to leave, took a few photos with the camera and made our way home. Happy Birthday Grace!

For Valentine's Day Meggy got me a Brew Hop Tour. It's a three hour tour of your favorite or soon to be new favorite San Diego breweries all inclusive with luxury transportation provided. Knowing that we had 3 hours we chose the breweries closest to home so we could enjoy more drinking than travel. Awesome time! Our tour guide was named Summer...and she rocked it! Picked us up @ our place...cruised a whopping 2.2 miles to Ballast Point...Tasted, Toured and off to the next locale...Alesmith a whole 3.4 miles away...Tasted, Toured and hoped back in our transport for the 1.8 mile trip home. Totally recommend it...time flew by! Thank you Meggy!

I started staining the underside of the table this morning before work...got bored real quick. It probably wasn't the best idea to do it before work...I was tired before I even got to work this morning. In my head I have plans of doing two coats...that might just translate into two coats on the skyward facing planes. Looking good so far!
And some bonus images for Wednesday...
Flowers for Meggy...
Whiskey waiting for Mama...
And last but not least The Little Plan flowering more than ever!
