This years trek up for Christmas we decided to do the coastal route...Inspired by settlers that had braved this expanse years previous. Namely Ryan and Sacha. Drove up to Ventura Monday night and had a lovely stay at Le Chateau Motel 6. Then we drove the coast up to Monterey. Stopped in Avila Beach, Morro Bay, Los Padres and a few other pit stops. Freaking awesome!!! Great weather...Fantastic scenery! Shacked up in Monterey sampled a few local cigars and beverages called it a night and drove to the M-E-R-C-E-D in the morning. Aaand I took no where near enough photots. Getting lazy...
