Got motivated and finally built a small light tent so I can mess around with some macro photography...I had seen this tutorial online for a while now and I finally got the bug to give it a go. I bought a better light to get that box glowing. I'll have to post some examples soon.

My pumpkin....Did a little carving on the teeth. I think next year I might have to give a solid attempt at some detailed pumpkin carving...Maybe.

Zoe...My parents pup. She is the whole reason Meggy fell in love with Miniature Aussies. Technically it looks like Whiskey is considered a Toy Aussie. Lucy will be in the Miniature size department. We saw a couple of handsome Standard Aussies at the dog park...It would be funny to have all three sizes.

Chris and I paired up for the last golf outing. He spotted this ball that was OB and retrieved it. It definitely wasn't his...he was just doing his part for the environment.

Many moons ago we were skating in San Francisco and we stopped into one of the many tourist trap camera shops...they had a cheap ass fish eye that would attach to the end of your current lens and to sweeten the sale the show owner threw in the adapter ring for my video camera too. We beat the shit out of that thing...it was total crap but we definitely got our monies worth. I'll have to dig up some old stuff.

If you know me...I love to blow money on stupid things...it's kinda my thing...but I have a hard time spending it on camera lenses. I don't really know why?!?!

So for shits and giggles and to see if I want a real fish eye lens I tracked this guy down on Amazon. It is a cheap ass heavy piece of crap...but it is so much fun to play with. And I think it sealed the deal...someday I might order a fish eye lens...maybe.

Leaving our soccer game on Thursday I spotted RC's latest financial endeavour. Apparently he has been hitting the road. He must have watched "Over The Top" and got inspired. RC let me know when the big arm wrestling tournament is...we'll come cheer you on.

Advanced & Symphonic Band Concert. Grace was playing the Saxophone...and for one song Grace and two other girls got up to perform some Sax soloing...Great job Grace!
Not only did the band director keep it musical, he also gave a history lesson or twelve. Afterwards Sarah had us all over for dinner. Thanks for dinner Sarah!
