Another amazing day on the water on board the El Gato Dos!  Bryan and Kerim rocked it as usual.  72 degree water…not a cloud in the sky…needless to say the fish were swarming!  The young sea turtle we saw definitely added to the day’s good fortune.  The days end total was 25 Yellowtail, 3 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Dorado.   We had a lot more in and near the boat…Epic day.  Big fish of the day went to Andrei…32 lb. Yellowtail…It was a monster.  Thanks again Bryan and Kerim and thanks Schorn for setting it all up!  We’ve been eating good!

El Gato Dos...

Here are a few highlights from the trip...It was a pretty solid day. We hauled ass straight South West into Mexican waters about 35 miles out. Spotted a few big marlin, a bunch of tuna and a few good size pods of porpoise...but no one was hungry. So we high tailed it back North to the Coronado Islands. Switched out our rigs to troll the bottom and it paid off...we reeled in Whitefish, Sculpin, Rock fish, a Sheepshead and a Grouper...The Grouper being the largest of the day...pulled in by Joe. Thanks for setting it all up Dave! Great to see you guys!

If you are ever looking to charter a fishing boat out of San Diego...Give Bryan Zulka a buzz...Great guy...Busts his ass out there for you. I think this was my 5th or so time out with him on the El Gato Dos...I highly recommend it!

Man...I just keep getting more and more handsome by the year! Chartering the El Gato Dos for a 3/4 day fishing trip tomorrow...Keep your thoughts of bountiful fish harvests and ice cold Coors Lights strong and often! It's been a little quiet out there on the water lately...hopefully we can turn that around tomorrow!
