David Schorn = Metal...

If it has something to do with Metal...You can guarantee that Schorn will be there! And then you add San Diego sports on top of that...Watch out! Sunday Schorn rallied a group to join him in a suite in the Western Metal Supply Building @ Petco Park. AWESOME! A beautiful day, amazing accommodations, great people and the Padres pull out a win...You can't go wrong with that!

After partying it up in the suite we decided to stop into Tivoli for "A" drink. Which turned into a few more then "A"...As you can see. Whirlwind weekend...I was excited to get back to work so I could sit down...and not have to drink anymore. I am over that now...Ready for the weekend again.

5th of July...

My new favorite holiday! We were headed out to grab some lunch...and a stoke of genius hit me...Padres Sunday day game! We headed on Downtown...had lunch and a few choice beverages @ East Village Bowl and Tavern. Did a little hat shopping...and hit the game. So many freaking Dodger fans. We missed all the action...minus the solo shot from Koooooooooz. When we got in the game it was 6-0 Dodgers. Powered a few beers and some cotton candy. We left @ 6-1 in the 8th. Walked over to Tivoli to watch the comeback attempt as the Pads tied it up 6-6 and juuust couldn't pull it off.

Headed home for some chili doggin' and some Night Time Zoo @ The World Famous San Diego Zoo. Awesome! Night Time Zoo is freaking fantastic! Super stoked it's that time of year again! Sorry no Zoo photos...I didn't feel like lugging my camera stuff on my stupid sun burnt shoulders. I'm and idiot...Wear your sunscreen kids!

UPDATE: I was just looking at the post after I posted it...and I was cracking up! It looks like Summer's face froze from the cotton candy pose and remained all the way till Tivoli.

Padres vs. D-Bags - Sunday...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMIN!

Samin has rallied a group for her birthday the past few years for some cocktails, Padres baseball, Food and more Cocktails.

This year I was really confused...For some reason I had assumed the game was on Saturday and figured it'd work out perfect going to the game with Samin's group and the Pierce Parentals. I found out it wasn't. We gave our tickets...that we took off Cory and Andrea's hands...to Angela since we couldn't make it. Sooo plans change and it turns out that we could make it...which we found out on the way downtown to join them for one drink and then to head home. So while we are Downtown and we paid to park we figured...meh why not...let's go to the game again. Bought some tickets in the same section...turns out there was empty seats right next to the group that we nabbed after a few innings...it all worked out fantastic!

Aaaand I still found "2 F Lopez" really funny.

The second photo is the Pad Squad singing Happy Birthday to Samin along with a few of the upper deck sections. You can spot her in the photo.

The Pads attempted to repeat a stellar comeback just like the night before...tied it up in the bottom of the 9th. We stuck around till the 11th. GLAD we didn't stay for the whole game...the Padres had 9 HITLESS extra innings. I would have ripped my face off sitting through that. No beer sales past the bottom of the 7th.

Then we went to Basic for some more drinks and some FANTASTIC pizza. Our waitress was a bit off her game but the pizza was great. Anytime anyone wants to go to Basic for pizza...count me in.

Then we me Kerry and Martin at our place...strolled down to the park and broke in Martin's new bocce ball set. Good times! Great weekend!

Padres vs. D-Bags - Saturday Night...

Met up with the Pierce familia for some Padres baseball. I really enjoyed the seats out in left field. Great comeback from the Pads to win the game! After the game we did up a little Tivoli for a few rounds and then home to call it a night.

UPDATE: I found it really funny everytime #2 Felix Lopez batted for the D-backs...the smaller scoreboards would read "2 F Lopez." I would giggle everytime...you can't say I don't think about you Damien!
