Kit Carson Park...
James had a few work buddies heading up to Kit Carson Park in Escondido for some Disc Golf. We cruised up and tailed them with our group. I dig the course...I didn't think I was going to at first. The first three holes are in a barren wasteland that looks like a perfect breeding ground for venomous snakes to lash out and grab a hold of your calf with their humongous fangs. Luckily for us...That didn't happen. It quickly rolls into the grassy tree covered area of the park...Much better. Different types of terrain, Some tricky holes, Some long, Some short, water hazards and it's free...I'd go back.
Towards the end of the course there is a sculpture garden, Nike de Saint Phalle's Queen Califia's Magical Circle...It was pretty freaking sweet!
Speaking of magical! Megan was rapidly perfecting her hippy toss...We've got quite the little disc chucker on our hands now!
After a solid round of disc golf we cruised up the next exit to try out Hacienda de Vega...Ay dios mio! Sign me up!
