Dartballin' Outta Control...

Dartball Night...We finally made it...and it was fantastic! Shorty and Jeff had us over to join in the Dartball festivities...I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot more Dartballin' in our near future. Awesome game. Throwing sharp metal darts while drinking...what could go possibly wrong?

It's set up just like baseball but you are throwing darts that determine the game play. Teams, Batting Order, Strike Outs, Hits, Batting Averages, Full on stats kept...Just like baseball...Good stuff!

Thanks for having us over guys! Sorry it took so long for us to make it. We'll be back...that is if you'll have us back?!

Olive...

Veronica brought her puppy into work today. Her name is Olive...she is a one year old St. Bernard...and big old sweetheart...and I think Whiskey has a new buddy. Whiskey was definitely a little suspect at first...but she warmed up for some solid playtime. By the end of their romp Whiskey's head was so full of doggy slobber it looked like she had spiked her whole head and neck with hair gel.

So you understand the size difference...

Whiskey - 10.5 lbs.
Olive - 125 lbs.

Happy Easter...

For Easter Meggy wanted to BBQ leg of lamb. Saturday we picked up a rotisserie for the grill...super stoked on that! And Sunday morning we tracked down a few boneless leg of lamb...got them home stuffed them with garlic gloves then Meggy commenced the rub down...Parsley, Basil, Rosemary, Salt, Pepper and Olive Oil. I over cooked them a tad...I wanted one medium and one done...and they were both done. I'd say it was a pretty successful first attempt.



This is the earthquake aftermath...my desk at work. Nothing major...It just launched CD cases and a pint glass out of my cabinet on to my desk and floor.

We were in the backyard when it hit. Our umbrella started rocking then all the windows started shuttering...It was a pretty solid shock. Three dogs playing in the backyard...no freaking out...no early warning...just playing having a good old time.

Backyard Whiskey....

Whiskey LOVES to play in the backyard. The green ball is one of her favorites to chase down when playing fetch...She's getting good with the "Drop" command. And the rawhide in the last photo is one of Lily's she had left buried in the backyard. Whiskey is keeping with that tradition...she hides it all over the place. If you catch her in the act...she quickly aborts the mission and looks for a new hiding spot.

Murph-n-Eggs...

We hard boiled eggs this weekend...completely unrelated to Easter...just due to the fact that we had too many eggs. Then we dyed them...because we had hard boiled eggs and it was Easter. Murphy was there to assist...His job...make sure the water was just the right temperature for the eggs to cool. He did a great job.

Pierce Sisters...

The girls all got together for a movie this last week. This is a rowdy bunch right here!

Whiskey, Rita and Lulu...

Whiskey had Rita and Lulu over for a play date on Saturday a few weekends back. I came home to all of them rip roaring ready to go. I have never felt so loved. By the look on Whiskey's face you'd think she'd been left alone for weeks.
